Located in the beautiful Navarra region, the bodega Tandem has been created in 2003. The Macula wine is the top wine of the production.
The 2006 Macula is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon aged two years in concrete vats and 26 months in French oak barrels. It has the added complexity of bottle aging and a more developed bouquet of black pepper, dried flowers and blackberries. The palate is full-bodied, and powerful, but with resolved tannins and good depth. Very good wine to drink now or to age in a good cellar.
